Coffee Beans
What is the difference between Espresso and Filter Coffee?
Our coffees are very versatile and can work with all the popular brewing methods. We also offer to grind our coffees for you for each of these brewing methods.
Single Origins work great on any filter brewing method thanks to their vibrant aromas and flavours, in particular the V60 or Chemex. For any Sage or Espresso equipment, we recommend you go for beans that are geared towards Espresso for a more balanced and smooth taste. Take a look at our brew guides and roasting guides to learn more. Our Mella Espresso Blend works wonders with a Sage.
Selecting the right coffee grind
We offer to grind all our coffees for you for every brewing method (Moka Pot, Espresso, Aeropress, Chemex, French Press and V60). For freshness, if you have a home espresso machine we recommend you always buy wholebean. Whereas if you’re a filter lover we can grind the coffee depending on your brewing method.
Where can I find your brew guides?
You can find all things specialty, single origin, grind size and coffee related in our blog here
Coffee Roasting
How Fresh is your coffee?
Every single day, our coffee is lovelingly roasted to order from our co-roasting space, that means that, after an adequate resting period (1 week), we've timed it so that it arrives on your door at the perfect time to brew. A little rest but not too much so you have the perfect, aromatic freshness for your brew.
How long can I enjoy my coffee after roasting?
We recommend brewing our coffees from up to 3 months after the roast date. The Roast date and best before dates are labelled on the back of all our coffee products. For freshness, if you have a home espresso machine we recommend you always buy wholebean. Whereas if you’re a filter lover we can grind the coffee depending on your brewing method.
Coffee Subscriptions
What is the single origin rotational?
Let us surprise you with a new Single Origin coffee every month! Our Roasters Rotation subscription includes a large selection of specialty coffee from around the world but only if they make an active effort to promote sustainability in the industry and pay their farmers fairly.
What subscriptions should I sign up for?
Firstly, choose what brewing method/equipment you’d like to use. We offer a few different options depending on machine, frequency, region, etc. We recommend choosing the single origin subscription if you’re a fan of trying our latest coffee and prefer filter coffee whereas if you just want a continuous supply of beautiful coffee we suggest you select our roasters lucky dip option.
Managing your subscription
You can amend, pause or cancel your subscription anytime if you’re on our rolling subscription model by logging into your account or contacting us at gmnftproject@gmail.com
Changing your subscription
We will send your subscription out on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis, depending on your preference. You can also adjust your subscription type, delivery schedule, grind or coffee volume by logging into your account or contacting us at gmnftproject@gmail.com
